How to love your bag forever and ever

Product Care

While leather is an incredibly durable material, it remains a natural product that will wear & age over time. Taking good care of your products will ensure they last for many years to come.

We value our relationship with our suppliers and strive to provide you with the best information on the materials you’re wearing.

Cowhide and Lamb

Avoid exposure to water. If your product becomes wet, allow it to dry naturally. If your product becomes dirty, wipe with a dry cloth or brush. When necessary (to polish scuffs, marks, or if leather is looking dull) we recommend treating your leather product with a quality leather conditioner or polish (such as Saphir Crème Universalle Leather Balm). Applying a thin, even coat will help your product develop a lovely patina.

Hair-on Hide

Each piece is unique, with variations in pattern and pile that are part of its natural charm. Avoid exposure to water, direct heat, or friction. If product becomes dirty, gently shake or lightly brush in the direction of the fur to restore texture. Store away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and maintain the natural character.

Goat

While goat leather is naturally water resistant, exposure to water should be avoided. If your product becomes dirty, wipe with a barely damp cloth. Wipe dry afterwards. Goatskin’s inherently soft and supple texture is thanks to a large supply of lanolin. We therefore do not recommend any additional polishes.

Suede and Lining

If the sueded lining becomes dirty, use a dry cloth or brush to clean off marks.
