Glad is committed to design that matters. Glad is knowing who made your bag, and where. Glad is being slow in a world that won’t slow down. Glad is in the details. Glad is ready when it is. Glad is carrying a good book. Glad is taking a bottle to dinner. Glad is napping in the sun. Glad is a good thing for a long time.

Stuff by Glad was established in 2019 by Isabella McRae. Each and every piece produced by the studio is made by hand in Adelaide.

Driven by the desire to create connection between designer, maker and product, Stuff by Glad encourages consumers to engage with products on a deeper authentic level.

Our pieces aim to transcend the current fashion cycle: they are timeless, classic and easy to style. They are genderless designs. They are free from flashy logos. These are bags designed to be worn however you want to wear them. We strive to ensure that all our designs will be wardrobe staples for years to come.

Made local, made well.

  • All Stuff by Glad’s products are made from a range of the world’s best full grain leathers; most of which are vegetable-tanned leathers. Cowhide and Goatskin are sourced from traditional tanneries across Italy and France. Kangaroo skins, and occasionally cowhides, are sourced from local Italian tanneries.

We use premium fittings crafted in Italy and Japan. Curating our materials and fittings in this way ensures our products are durable and long-lasting.

  • We hate waste, which means we produce in small batches. Items that are listed as available will be shipped immediately.

Occasionally, products will be listed online as made-to-order pieces. These products will require 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. This will be clearly stipulated on each product’s page. If you’re in need of a product for a specific date, please contact us prior to purchase to ensure we can meet your needs.

  • Trained in traditional Florentine style, you can rest assured the makers of your bags know what they’re doing. We provide all the knowledge to care for your leather goods for years to come. Additionally, we’re on standby to help with any repairs. These things are built to last (as they should be).
